Power, voltage, and size—why it matters
We run it at 400V so the current stays lower. That means you can use smaller wiring and not worry as much about voltage drop over distance. The 2500W rating packs in serious heat density, so it warms up fast. And that 300mm length focuses the output into a tight beam. The payoff is simple: you get predictable hot spots right where you need them—on the work surface—without trying to heat the entire garage.
The build: built to take the heat
The quartz envelope handles the shock of switching on and off again and again. Inside, the halogen fill helps keep the filament stable even at scorching temps. A reflective coating pushes more of that warmth forward, so more of the wattage actually lands on your target. And the R7s connector? It’s a straightforward two-pin design, so the lamp slides right in as a direct replacement. No adapters. No wiring headaches.
Where it shines—and what to keep in mind
In a shop, this heater goes after the spots that always stay cold: floors, workbenches, vehicle bays. Radiant heat warms objects directly, so you feel the heat even when the air around you is still chilly. Just keep in mind: that high watt density means you need proper mounting clearance, and you’ll want a ventilation plan to manage reflected heat.
