These heaters run on standard industrial voltages—think 220V or 400V—and come in a range of wattages to fit the room. A small bathroom? A 1000W unit is often plenty. A larger space? You can go up to 2500W or even more. And the size is surprisingly compact. We’re talking about a tube that’s roughly 300mm long, so you can mount it right where you want the heat, without eating up floor space. That concentrated power means one thing: the heater warms up fast. But here’s the catch—that kind of heat density means the surrounding enclosure and wiring have to be rated for the temperature and load. It’s just common sense.
The Heart of the Heater
We use halogen-filled quartz tubes because they can handle rapid temperature swings without cracking. The coating on the tube helps control the infrared output and keeps it protected from moisture and splashes. For installation, we stick with the R7s connector. It gives you a solid, two-point contact that handles the current cleanly and makes the lamp a simple drop-in replacement. The whole design is straightforward, tough, and easy to wire up. No fuss.

In a bathroom, you can choose the power level that matches the square footage, which is key to staying energy-efficient.
