That&amp;rsquo;s why we use explosion-proof quartz glass.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;What does &amp;ldquo;explosion-proof&amp;rdquo; actually mean?&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;It doesn&amp;rsquo;t mean the lamp is indestructible. It just means that if the glass ever does fail, it doesn&amp;rsquo;t spray shards everywhere. We use a reinforced structure or a protective outer shell that keeps the break contained. It&amp;rsquo;s all about that safety margin.&#xA;Then there&amp;rsquo;s the IP65 rating. You&amp;rsquo;ll see that on the box, but here is what it actually does for you. The &amp;ldquo;6&amp;rdquo; keeps the dust out.
